High School Student (College Credit Plus)

If you are an Ohio high school student interested in obtaining college credits before graduation, the Post-Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) program might be for you.

1.     Complete an application online or print a paper copy
        to send by mail.

2.     Meet with your Guidance Counselor to select PSEO classes.
        Complete the Pre-Registration Form with your
        Guidance Counselor and submit the form to the Admissions

        Note:  All students are required to take GEN105 Cornerstone
        during their first semester.

3.     Provide official high school transcripts
        To participate in the PSEO program, students must be a
        freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior and have a
        minimum 3.0 GPA.  Official transcripts must be mailed
        directly to Chatfield College at the following address:

4.     Campus Visit 

5.     Schedule your Placement Test
        Students must place into ENG101 and MAT112 to be eligible to
        participate in the PSEO program.

        Contact an admissions counselor to schedule your ASSET
        placement test.  Appointments are available Monday
        through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on select Saturdays.
        Please allow approximately 2 to 3 hours for the exam.

        All PSEO applicants will receive notification of acceptance
        or denial into the program within two weeks in writing.
