Caitlyn Henehan-Foppe Joins Chatfield as Admissions Counselor

Caitlyn Henehan-Foppe has joined Chatfield College as an admissions counselor at the Over-the Rhine campus. Her primary role is to work with students on campus, as well as recruiting at local high schools and businesses. When she is out recruiting she will be speaking to groups as not only an admissions counselor, but also as a faculty member. This will allow her to give students a unique insight into the student experience at Chatfield.

Caitlyn earned a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State, a master’s degree from California State University Dominguez Hills, and a doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. She has a background in both teaching and conflict resolution, including finding new ways and alternatives to solve problems in difficult or violent situations.

Caitlyn has taught at both Chatfield’s Brown County (Ohio) and Over-the-Rhine campuses, focusing on Criminal Justice and Sociology, for the past three years. She has also worked as a tutor in order to help students reach their full potential.

“I am excited to join the admissions team so that I can watch students grow from start to finish. I have always enjoyed helping students, and this position will be a great way to interact in a more helpful and supportive way,” she said.

Working in admissions will allow Caitlyn to pursue her passion and enjoy the academic setting in a new and exciting manner and become a bigger part in student’s journey to success — something about which she is very passionate.

“We are really excited to have Dr. Foppe join our admissions team, as her faculty experience provides a unique insight into what her students need in order to succeed,” said John Penrose, Vice President of Enrollment Management.

Caitlyn currently resides in Cincinnati and likes to spend time with family and her four dogs. She also enjoys traveling and exercise.

Chatfield College is a private, faith-based, liberal arts college offering the Associate of Arts degree in Brown County and Cincinnati, and is an open enrollment college. The Brown County campus is located at 20918 State Route 251; St. Martin, OH 45118; the Cincinnati campus is located in historic Over-the- Rhine at 1544 Central Parkway; Cincinnati, OH 45202.
