Chafield College to Present Lessons and Carols

Chatfield College will present Lessons and Carols on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 7 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Chapel, with a reception following in the Welcome Center on the St. Martin Campus in Brown County.

Lessons and Carols remind us of the meaning of the Advent Season through music and selected readings by the students and members of the Chatfield College community.  The story of the promise of the Messiah and the birth of Jesus is told in 5 short readings taken from the Book of Isaiah and the Gospels, interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols. Special music will be performed by Chatfield staff and students.

The winner of the late Sr. Cecilia Huber’s beloved dulcimer will also be given following the show. The annual Chistmas concert was one of the many special things Sr. Cecilia contributed to Chatfield.

Lessons and Carols is funded in part by the Lulu O. Craig Fine Arts Fund.  Admission is free and open to the public.
