Chatfield College Presents Lessons & Carols

Chatfield College will present Lessons and Carols on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 7 p.m. in the Mongan Academic Building on the St. Martin Campus in Brown County.

Lessons and Carols reminds us of the meaning of the Advent Season through music and selected readings by the students, staff and members of the Chatfield College community. The story of the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus is told in nine, short Bible readings from Genesis, the prophetic books and the Gospels, interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols, hymns and choir music. Special music will be provided by Chatfield graduate and current guitar instructor Jamie Murrell ’96 and his students.

Lessons and Carols is funded in part by the Lulu O. Craig Fine Arts Fund.  Admission is free and open to the public.
