Ohio Historical Marker Planned for St. Martin Campus
December 2, 2020
In commemoration of the Brown County Ursulines’ 175th anniversary and their pioneering spirit, sacrifice, and service, the Brown County Ursulines Alumni Association honored the current Brown County Ursulines with pens made from the trees which previously lined the St. Martin campus. Additionally, through the combined efforts of Chatfield College, the Ursulines, and the BCU Alumni Association received approval from the Ohio Historical Society for a marker at the St. Martin Campus entrance.
Dedication of the historical marker is tentatively planned for the 2021 alumni reunion. In 2021, we continue to celebrate the Ursulines 175th anniversary, the 175th anniversary of BCU’s first graduating class, and the 50th anniversary of Chatfield College.
